Madaba – The City of Mosaics (~9:00 AM – 10:00 AM) • Drive to Madaba, a historic town famous for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. • Visit St. George’s Church, home to the Madaba Mosaic Map, a 6th-century mosaic depicting the Holy Land. • Explore other sites like the Church of the Apostles and Madaba Archaeological Park (optional). 3. Mount Nebo – The View of the Promised Land (~10:30 AM – 11:30 AM) • A short drive from Madaba brings you to Mount Nebo, an important biblical site where Moses is believed to have seen the Promised Land before passing away. • Enjoy breathtaking views of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and even Jerusalem on a clear day. • Visit the Franciscan Monastery and Church, featuring ancient mosaics and historical artifacts. 4.
